- A SET OF MISINTERPRETATIONS IN THE BOOK OF DANIEL -
LOOK FOR THREE COLORS OF HIGHLIGHTING IN THE BOX
Daniel 10:13 - ...Scroll down to see.

The word 'prayer' in pink, is actually the Hebrew word 'words,' acknowledging the work Daniel is doing as he actually pens his prophecy.   The words 'opposed me' should be interpreted as 'stood opposite'.  'Was detained' must be corrected to 'remained.'

The better translation is: "...before Me your words were heard, and I have come because of your words."  13"Then the Prince of the Persian kingdom stood in contrast for twenty one days; now Michael, one of the highest Princes has come to my aid, and I remained there with the kings of Persia (slang, literally prize or reward)...."

Improper resentments are raised with the improper translation.
